Identification & Access

 All employees are entitled to an Iscte ID Card.

Provisional Card

      • At the beginning of your employment at Iscte, the “Unidade de Recursos Humanos” (Human Resources Unit), will issue a duly activated provisional card to the employee.

      • In other situations, please contact us through the communication channels indicated on this page to book an appointment with our support team to activate the cards.

Definite Card

      • Non-bank card – It is raised in the Human Resources Unit (Sedas Nunes Building, Atrium 1W, room 1W01).

      • Bank card – It is picked up at any CGD agency or delivered to the owner’s address.

      • To activate the cards, please contact us through the communication channels indicated on this page to book an appointment with our support team.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an electronic authentication method in which users confirm their identity by presenting two or more pieces of evidence successfully. In ISCTE we consider your username and password to be the first factor of authentication.

We recommend the OKTA Verify application as a second authentication factor.

Infrastructure & Connectivity

Iscte’s wireless network service covers virtually the entire Iscte campus with the SSID eduroam.

On newer devices, eduroam configuration is automatic; simply enter your Fenix+ username and password.

  1. Access your Wi-Fi settings.
  2. Select the “Eduroam” network.
  3. Enter your Iscte username and password.

Eduroam (Education Roaming) is a mobility service developed for the international education and research community.
