VoIP

PT

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a technology that allows you to make voice calls using an internet connection instead of a traditional phone line. Here are some key points about VoIP:

    • How It Works: VoIP converts your voice into digital data packets and transmits them over the internet. This process involves digitizing the voice signal, encoding it, and sending it as IP packets.
    • Benefits: VoIP often offers lower costs, better audio quality, and more flexibility compared to traditional phone systems. It supports features like voicemail, call forwarding, and video calls.
    • Usage: VoIP can be used on various devices, including computers, smartphones, and dedicated VoIP phones. It’s popular in both personal and business settings.
