Iscte provides software grouped into several categories, according to the type of use:

1.1 Personal Use Software

Licensed applications for use on Iscte users’ personal computers, according to specific rules for academic or institutional use.

1.2. Standard Installations

Software pre-installed on:

    • Workstations assigned to employees;
    • Workstations installed in classrooms, auditoriums, and laboratories.

These installations ensure uniformity and compatibility in shared use environments.

2.2. Single Licensing

    • Iscte has individual software licenses, which are acquired following Iscte’s individual licensing acquisition process.
    • This process is initiated by the person in charge of each Service, Department, or Research Unit through an acquisition proposal to the Conselho de Gestão (Management Board).
