🆔 Iscte Card
All Iscte employees and students are entitled to an ID card.
🧑💻 User Account
The account is personal and non-transferable. For instance, the student Xisto Ximenes has the following credentials:

📧 Email account
The email service (individual accounts, shared accounts and distribution lists), supported by the Office 365 platform, is available to all Iscte students.
Multifactor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an electronic authentication method in which users confirm their identity by presenting two or more pieces of evidence successfully. In ISCTE we consider your username and password to be the first factor of authentication.
We recommend the OKTA Verify application as a second authentication factor.

NAU - Sempre a Aprender
Online teaching and training platform for large audiences resulting from a national initiative to build and operate a technical and operational infrastructure to support the publication and promotion of content in Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) format in Portuguese.

- Research Connect – Database dedicated to national and international funding opportunities.
- Overton.io – Search index of policy papers, guidelines, think-tank publications and working papers.
- Scopus – Database of abstracts and citations of publications.
- Web of Science – Platform for integrated access to a database of bibliographical. references and citation indexes.
- b-on – Permanent unlimited access to thousands of scientific journals and ebooks.
- IDS – Iscte Discovery Service (resource aggregator).
- PUBLICATION FINDER (resource aggregator).

- Teams – Team collaboration platform developed by Microsoft.
- Educast – Video management service for simple registration and distribution of academic content (classes).
- Filesender – Application that allows users to temporarily send and store large files.
- Videocast – Videocast allows you to stream video, audio and slides in real time through a simple web page. It may also include chat, twitter and controlled access from users.
- Colibri/Zoom – Videoconferencing service based on the Zoom video conferencing system.

- Autodesk – Free access to educational software.
- Eviews – Access to forecasting and statistical modelling tools.

- MAXQDA – Qualitative data analysis and mixed methods research.
- Microsoft Azure – Software, including Windows 10, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project.
- Microsoft Copilot – AI tool that facilitates content creation, editing and analysis.
- Office365 – Microsoft’s suite of applications.
- Qualtrics – Data collection products for academic research.
- R – Computational statistics software
- IBM SkillsBuild – A free educational program designed to help learners develop valuable skills and access career opportunities, particularly in the tech field.
- IBM SPSS Statistics – Advanced statistical analysis.
- IBM SPSS Modeler – Application of data extraction and text analysis software.
- Stata – Statistical software.
- think-cell – A Microsoft Office add-in for PowerPoint and Excel that integrates with these applications, making it easier to build and visualise simple or complex graphs.

📶 Wireless network (Wi-Fi)
Iscte’s wireless network service covers virtually the entire Iscte campus with the SSID eduroam.
On newer devices, eduroam configuration is automatic; simply enter your Fenix+ username and password.
- Access your Wi-Fi settings.
- Select the “Eduroam” network.
- Enter your Iscte username and password.
Eduroam (Education Roaming) is a mobility service developed for the international education and research community.
