How to schedule a Webinar?

Answer/Solution: The Colibri service provides the possibility of requesting Webinars. This service is available through a request for institutions that are members of RCTS (Rede Ciência Tecnologia e Sociedade).

Additional Information:

- The Webinar service component is dedicated to online events aimed at large audiences, so it should only be requested for events that require a minimum of 300 participants.
- Current licensing allows for a maximum capacity of 1000 participants in each webinar.
- Requests for the webinar service must be made two working days (48 hours) in advance.
- Requests are subject to analysis and approval by FCCN support team and reservations may be conditioned by the type of event, licensing availability and/or previously scheduled reservations.

Printing error – Windows Hello

For users who have configured PIN or fingerprint authentication – Windows Hello – and were unable to print (error 0x000006ba), follow these steps:

1. Access the “Printers & Scanners” menu using the Windows search box.
2. Select the printer and press the “Remove“.
3. Establish a connection to the Iscte print server by running the command \\printsrv-vwx.iul.intra in the Windows search box.
  Tip: Outside Iscte installations, connect to the VPN before attempting to connect to the Iscte print server.
4. In the Windows Security window, click on “More choices“.
5. Select “Use a different account“.
6. Authenticate to the print server and select “Remember my credentials“.
  
  Username: Type “IUL\username” (e.g., IUL\xxnes)
  Password: Type Iscte account password
7. Press the OK button.
8. Install the Iscte network printer driver using the right mouse button and choosing the Connect… option and wait for the installation to finish.

How can I recover the password on Okta?

If you are already a member of the Iscte community (worker or student), perform the following steps:

1. Go to https://login.iscte-iul.pt/
2. Enter your Iscte username (e.g. xxnes@iscte-iul.pt) and click “Next“.
3. Click on “Forgot password?“.
4. Select the “Email” option to receive a password recovery e-mail to your personal e-mail address.
  
  Note: The ‘Phone’ method is temporarily unavailable.
5. Click on the ‘Send me an email’ button.
6. Access your personal email account (which you have added to Okta).
7. You will receive an automatic e-mail to your personal e-mail address from <noreply.login@iscte-iul.pt>, where you should click on the “Reset password” button.
  Please note: The password reset link is only valid for 5 minutes.
8. A new login.iscte-iul.pt window will open in the default browser. Immediately change your password and then click on the “Reset password” button.
