Iscte’s email service includes:

  • Individual accounts: Each user has an institutional account for personal and professional use.
  • Shared accounts: Ideal for teams or departments that need shared access.
  • Distribution lists: Facilitate communication with specific groups (e.g., departments, projects).

All of this is supported by the Office 365 platform, ensuring integration with other tools such as Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

Who can use it?

    • Exclusively for Iscte employees: teachers, researchers, and technical staff.

How does it work?

    • Standard printer: “Iscte on printers.iul.intra
    • Already installed on computers assigned to employees.
    • Can also be installed on personal computers.

How to install/configure the printer?

    • Access to Iscte’s wired and wireless networks.
    • Secure connection via VPN – Allows you to connect your personal computer (on your home network) to the Iscte network.
    • Voice over IP (VoIP) service – Available only to Iscte’s employees.

    • IBM SPSS AMOS – Allows the use of structural equation modelling (SEM) to test hypotheses.
    • Autodesk – Free access to educational software.
    • Eviews – Access to forecasting and statistical modelling tools.
    • Intel – Includes software development toolkits.
    • Matlab – Numerical computing and programming software.
    • MAXQDA – Qualitative data analysis and mixed methods research.
    • Microsoft Azure – Software, including Windows 10, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project.
    • Microsoft Copilot – AI tool that facilitates content creation, editing and analysis.
    • Office365 – Microsoft’s suite of applications.
    • Qualtrics – Data collection products for academic research.
    • R – Computational statistics software
    • IBM SkillsBuild – A free educational program designed to help learners develop valuable skills and access career opportunities, particularly in the tech field.
    • IBM SPSS Statistics – Advanced statistical analysis.
    • IBM SPSS Modeler – Application of data extraction and text analysis software.
    • Stata – Statistical software.
    • think-cell – A Microsoft Office add-in for PowerPoint and Excel that integrates with these applications, making it easier to build and visualise simple or complex graphs.
