How do I forget or remove the eduroam network on Windows?

Quick option (recommended)

  1. Right-click the Wi-Fi icon on the taskbar.
  2. Select Network & Internet settings.
  3. Go to Wi-Fi → Manage known networks.
  4. Select eduroam.
  5. Click Forget.

Alternative option (via settings)

  1. Open the Start menu and select Settings.
  2. Go to Network & Internet → Wi-Fi.
  3. Select Manage known networks.
  4. Select eduroam and click Forget.

After removing the network, it is recommended that you reconfigure eduroam using eduroam CAT with your Iscte institutional credentials to ensure a proper and secure connection.

Tip: Forgetting the eduroam network is especially recommended when:

    • The Iscte institutional password has been changed;
    • The operating system has been updated;
    • There are repeated authentication requests or connection failures.
