How do I set up eduroam on my computer (Windows / macOS / Linux)?

On newer devices, eduroam setup is automatic; simply enter your username and password:
- Go to Wi-Fi settings.
- Select the Eduroam network.
- Enter your Iscte account credentials (e.g., xxnes@iscte-iul.pt and your password).
⚠️ If this does not work, use the eduroam CAT tool, which ensures a correct, secure, and up-to-date configuration.
- Access eduroam CAT and select Iscte as your institution.
- Select your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux);
- Download and run the installer.
- Enter your Iscte credentials when prompted.
The automatic configuration ensures that security parameters (certificates and authentication methods) are correctly set, avoiding common errors associated with manual configuration.
