Lesson planning allows you to create plans for the scheduled classes of a course unit.
To access the Lessons Planning functionality, you must select the option “Lesson Plannings” under “Teacher ⇾ Management”, after clicking on “Manage” in the Courses Dashboard page (see: Courses Dashboard).
When accessing this functionality, it becomes possible to Search, Create, and Copy the types of lesson plans to be applied in the course unit.
If you are the coordinator, you can control the visibility of the lesson plan on the course site:
To show the plan, click the button (course website: “hidden Planning (click to show)”).
To hide the plan, click the button (course website: “Visible Planning (click to hide)”).
To search, you must select a type of class (Theoretical, Theoretical-Practical, Laboratory):
After making your choice and selecting “Search”, a list will be displayed with the lesson plans defined for that class type:
For each lesson plan record, it is possible to Edit or Delete it, as well as manage its position in the list:
To create a new lesson plan, select “Create”:
After selecting, a window will appear where you must choose the class type to which the new lesson plan applies, as well as its title and description (the actual plan).
It is also possible to copy a lesson plan from previous periods. This option is available under “Copy Planning”.
Next, you may choose the course from which you wish to import a previous plan.
Finish by clicking on “Add Lesson Planning.”
In the Lesson Planning functionality, it is also possible to “Create Lesson Planning Using Summaries.” Select the corresponding option:
A window will be displayed where you can choose the course and the type of class you wish to search for:
After selecting the course and class type, click on the “Search” button. A list will then be displayed with all summaries already entered under those parameters.
To proceed with creating the plan from summaries, you must select all the desired summaries by checking the boxes in the table and then click “Create Planning.”
The lesson plans created through this method will subsequently be available and listed in the initial search functionality, as presented at the beginning of this document.
