FCCN Digital Services

In the context of our university’s connection to FCCN – the Scientific Computing Unit of the Foundation for Science and Technology, the entire academic community has access to a range of digital services that support learning, research, and collaboration.

Among the main services available, the following are highlighted:

  • Connectivity: secure and automatic Wi-Fi access through eduroam.

  • Collaboration: large file sharing with FileSender and live streaming of academic events via Videocast.

  • Access to knowledge: millions of international articles and ebooks through B-on, scientific repositories via RCAAP, lecture recording and sharing with Educast, digital preservation with Arquivo.pt, and massive open online courses on NAU.

  • Advanced research: access to supercomputing resources for scientific and technological projects.

Through these services, our students, teachers, and researchers benefit from digital tools that make Higher Education more connected, collaborative, and innovative.
