What is the Iscte VPN for?

Answer/Solution: 

Iscte’s VPN allows access, outside the campus, to resources that are only available within the institutional network, such as:

• Internal academic and administrative systems
• Network servers and folders
• Applications and software with licensing restricted to Iscte
• Scientific databases that require authentication via institutional IP

Without the VPN, these services may not be accessible when the user is at home or on another external network.
