- How It Works: VoIP converts your voice into digital data packets and transmits them over the internet. This process involves digitizing the voice signal, encoding it, and sending it as IP packets.
- Benefits: VoIP often offers lower costs, better audio quality, and more flexibility compared to traditional phone systems. It supports features like voicemail, call forwarding, and video calls.
- Usage: VoIP can be used on various devices, including computers, smartphones, and dedicated VoIP phones. It’s popular in both personal and business settings.
Access credentials are individual and can be found on Fénix. To do so, follow these steps:
- Access Fénix at https://fenix.iscte-iul.pt/
- Go to the “Personal” tab and click on “Personal information“.
- Go to “Contacts” and click on “View VOIP information” on the line corresponding to your extension.
Requests for forwarding service phone numbers should be made by the coordinator of the organic unit through the iAjuda Services Portal.
