Initial Configuration of Microsoft Teams

The initial setup of Microsoft Teams involves launching the application and logging in with your Microsoft 365 account. After logging in, you can customise general settings such as language, theme, and automatic launch of the application when you turn on your computer through the settings menu, which can be accessed by clicking on your profile icon. You can also manage your device and notifications within the settings options.

  1. Start Teams and log in
      • Open Microsoft Teams and log in with your Iscte-IUL account.
  2. Customise general settings
      • Access the settings menu by clicking on the profile icon (top right corner). Adjust:
        • Interfacelanguage.
        • Theme (light, dark, or high contrast).
        • Automatic start of Teams when you turn on your computer.
  3. Manage Devices
      • Configure your microphone, speakers and camera pto ensure quality meetings.
  4. Set Notifications
      • Adjust alerts for messages, calls, and meetings according to your preferences.
