Mid-Semester Assessment – Class Representatives
Atualizado/Updated: 2025-10-13
To begin the process, the class representative must access the I-MERITUS system and log in to their account.
On the login page, enter your credentials and click “Log in”.
On this page, you will find the “Mid-Semester Assessment” menu, which provides access to all the features required for the process.
Preparation of the meeting with Classmates
Before submitting any information, the class representative should meet with their classmates to collect feedback on the curricular units and teaching staff.
The system offers an option called “Student Meeting Script”, which allows the generation of a PDF version of the evaluation form.
This document can be printed and used during the meeting to record students comments and observations.
Although this step is not mandatory, it greatly facilitates the process of gathering information.
Add New Record
After holding the meeting with classmates, the class representative must return to the system to officially submit the evaluations.
To do so, select the option “Add New Record”.
Next, choose the corresponding degree programme and academic year, then click “Continue“.
The system will then display the form related to the selected programme and year. In this form, the class representative must indicate:
- The class they are representing;
- The date of the students meeting;
- The number of students present at the meeting.
The list of instructors includes the entire teaching team for that curricular unit, although not all of them may teach the representative’s class. Therefore, only those who actually teach that class should be considered.
While completing the form, the class representative can save their progress at any time by clicking “Save“, without the need to finalise immediately.
Seal the Submission
When all information regarding the curricular units and instructors has been completed, the representative must finalise the process by sealing the submission. The “Submit” option is available in the “Options” menu.
Before confirming submission, the system automatically checks for any missing data.
If there is incomplete information, an error message will appear, and the submission can only be sent after the necessary corrections have been made.
Once sealed, the submission is final and can no longer be modified.
From that moment, the document becomes visible to instructors, the year and programme coordinators, as well as the school and department directors.
After sealing the submission, the class representative can access the “View Records” option to review the evaluations already submitted.
In this section, it is possible to view details of each record and track the history of submitted evaluations.
